Q: On August 25, the Foreign Ministry briefed the press about foreign guests' attendance at the September 3 commemorative activities. So far, has any change been made to the attendance?

A: On August 25, at the press conference held by the State Council Information Office for the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming briefed the media on the attendance of foreign guests at the commemorative activities. Recently, the government of Papau New Guinea has decided that Governor General Michael Ogio will come to China and attend the activities. President of Indonesia Joko Widodo has designated Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharan as his Special Envoy to the activities.
