Top Chinese political advisor Yu Zhengsheng concluded his four-day visit to Indonesia on Tuesday, laying solid foundation for further development of bilateral relations.

Yu , Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), arrived in Indonesia Saturday on the second-stop of his tour after visiting Thailand.

During Yu's meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Monday, Widodo and Yu agreed that the two countries will strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime infrastructure, power supply, people-to-people contact as well as the state-owned companies of the two countries.

Widodo said he hopes to further promote cooperation between the two countries' consultative bodies as it will support the efforts to achieve the economic cooperation targets.

Also on Monday, Yu met with Zulkifli Hasan, chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia; Setya Novanto, chairman of Indonesia's House of Representatives; and Farouk Muhammad, vice chairman of Indonesia's Regional Representative Council.
